Why players keep trying

Observation First

Every strong hiding spot starts with reading color, light, object clusters, and seeker sight lines.

Creative Camouflage

Painting matters, but the pose and location make the disguise feel believable inside the scene.

Easy to Rewatch

Short rounds, obvious stakes, and funny hiding failures make the format easy to share with friends.

How to play Meccha Chameleon

Paint, Hide, and Survive

At the beginning of each Meccha Chameleon match, players are divided into two teams. The Hider team must find suitable locations and disguise themselves before the Seekers begin their search. Every player starts with a plain white character model that can be painted using different colors. The goal is to create a disguise that matches nearby objects, walls, floors, or decorations.

Meccha Chameleon success depends on observation and creativity. Players must carefully study the environment and reproduce its colors as accurately as possible. Positioning is also important, since even a well-painted character can be discovered if standing in an obvious location.

Gameplay and Match Structure

Meccha Chameleon matches are played within a time limit. During this period, Seekers explore the map and attempt to identify hidden players. If all Hiders are found before time expires, the Seekers win. If at least one Hider remains undiscovered, the Hider team succeeds.

Meccha Chameleon players can use several techniques to improve their chances:

  • Painting their bodies to match surroundings
  • Choosing less noticeable hiding spots
  • Adjusting character poses
  • Using map objects as cover
  • Working together with teammates
  • Learning the layout of each stage

Because every map contains different colors, objects, and layouts, hiding strategies change from one round to another.

Maps and Multiplayer Features

Meccha Chameleon includes multiple environments with unique visual styles. Some locations contain indoor spaces filled with furniture and decorations, while others feature open outdoor areas with animals, fences, and environmental objects. Different maps require players to adapt their Meccha Chameleon camouflage techniques based on available colors and textures.
